Will a photo convert well?▼
Tracing works best on flat graphics such as logos, icons, text and line art. Photos turn into posterised shapes and large files.
How do I get a transparent background?▼
In Black & white mode, leave “Transparent background” on to drop the white areas. For colour images, try “Remove background first (AI)”, which downloads a 44–88 MB model the first time.
How big can the image be?▼
Images are traced at up to about 2 megapixels; larger ones are scaled down first. The SVG itself scales to any size.
