Virtual Piano – Interactive Keyboard Online
An interactive piano keyboard you can play online, right in your browser. Play with your mouse, your computer keyboard or several fingers on a touch screen, shift octaves, and hold notes with the sustain pedal. The keyboard fits your screen, including phones held upright.
How to use it
- Tap, click or type (A–; for white keys, W E T Y U O P for black keys) to play notes.
- Use the arrows (or Z / X) to move up and down octaves, and choose how many octaves to show.
- Turn on Sustain, or hold the Space bar like a pedal.
- Slide across the keys for a glissando, or press several keys for chords.

Can I play chords?▼
Yes. It's polyphonic: press several keys (or use several fingers on a touch screen).
Does it work on a phone?▼
Yes, in portrait or landscape. On narrow screens it shows one octave by default; use the arrows to change octave or choose 2–3 octaves in landscape.
Is there a sustain pedal?▼
Yes. Toggle Sustain on, or hold the Space bar on a computer keyboard.
Does it sound like a real piano?▼
It uses a simple synthesized piano-like tone (no samples), which loads instantly and works offline once the page is open.
